Thanksgiving (and every day) is a time to count all of our blessings. There are many. We do not take them for granted. Our greatest blessing above all else is Jesus. Amazing Grace how sweet the sound! No greater Love!
It is a true blessing to know each of you. I am so thankful that we have one another. We understand, we care, and we pray one for another. A true sisterhood!
Happy Thanksgiving my friends.

Amen ~ and all of you have a most blessed Thanksgiving, no matter what!!! We all have the Lord Jesus Christ and He is enough. Remember the year before the Pilgrim's first Thanksgiving - 50% of them had already perished in a few short months. Some families were separated by an Atlantic Ocean (as sometimes only dad came over or just the parents, leaving their children behind), never to see their loved ones again. They proclaimed, "We have nothing but God - and He is everything." Why were they willing to be estranged from one another like this? For freedom to worship God as they saw fit. Folks, we still have that freedom - we can relish the love, joy, peace, patience, goodness, kindness, faith, humility and self-control that God freely gives us ~ and "against such there is no law." We do have so much to be thankful for. Please don't allow your EC to take away these precious attributes of the Holy Spirit. Love hurts ~ God has shown us that. My all-time favorite hymn is playing on the radio "Be Thou My Vision" as if God is reaching out to me right now, affirming His love and compassion. He is there for you as well. God bless us ~ one and all.
