Do not give up hope!
I'm in a fog of wonder and amazement.
I spent the whole weekend with my daughter.
Oh how I have missed her.
She emails often now. And texts often.
I still have not seen my sweet grandsons. But I will. I just know it.
They are moving several states away as soon as her husband can get a transfer.
I said "Oh. When Dad and I get our RV we can come visit!" ( he retires in a yr and a half)
I was throwing it out there to see what would return.
She said "Why yes. Of course!"
I am actually happier than if I won a million $ lottery!!!!
Never give up.
Never. We sang Sunday "There is Power in the Name of Jesus."
Oh there is.
I CAN FINALLY count it all joy.I would go through it all again to be this unbelievably happy!
She gave her dad a Father's Day card by handing it to me.
This is what it said...With Love Dad. A daughter needs her dad all her life.
If you ever find yourself wondering if I still need you
The way I did growing up
Or if I ever think about the little things and special times
We used to share- The answer will always be yes, Dad...
Because no matter how many years go by, Inside my heart
Will always be
The little girl who loves and needs her dad.
She will ask to see her dad soon.I just know it.
I feel almost guilty coming here to share this. The battle is not over though.
I used to be in your shoes. All day long wanting rescue from my broken heart.
Wondering if God cared about me.
He does dear heart.He does.
Don't give up!
I love you all. We are knit together by a special bond that no one else can even comprehend.
Goodness and Mercy (the 2 sheepdogs in the 23rd Psalm) will follow you all the days of your life!
