Proverbs 17:25
A foolish son is a grief to his father and bitterness to her who bore him.
I feel that bitter taste in my mouth when I think of my ED. The sweetness is gone, and her memory is even becoming only grievous and sorrowful.

Our EC have certainly grieved our hearts. It is not the way the Lord wants adult children to honor their parents. I pray one day they will repent to God and us.

Who would have thought we would someday be estranged from our children? When we were growing up, there was hardly any divorced families and, although families had arguments between themselves, estrangement seemed to be rare. Now we are told estrangement has become an epidemic. And each of us are a part of these new statistics.
There is not much we can do other then to pray and wait for God to do a work in our ec. Lord, please touch each estranged adult child who belongs to a member on this site and do whatever to give them a desire to repent and reconcile. And we will be waiting with open arms. Prayers for reconciliation soon for each of us. Don't give up your Hope and/or faith IN jESUS. IN HIS LOVE AND FRIENDSHIP......

Thank you all... I am just really sad. I'm usually okay, and healed for the most part ... but reading her own words and the delusion, well, it just floored me. I'm just recovering I guess.
