Hope...maybe I can give a little for Valentine's Day.
For refresher it's been about 4 yrs (5 Christmases) estranged from 3 grandsons and daughter.
We will have our 3rd counseling session on the 22nd Lord willing.
I NEVER thought I'd see the day!
I wrote a looooong email 2 nights ago to ED. It was about an aha moment I'd had from something she said at last meeting.
She had informed me NOT to email about anything except counseling dates.
So I was scared she would be mad.
Instead I was rewarded with a short sweet reply confirming she was OK with what I said.
It wasn't exactly the parting of the Red Sea.
But hey, I'll gladly take short and sweet!!!!!
It made for the happiest Holiday I've ever had.
(holidays...yuck)
I'm still greedy for prayers.
As you all know this could all vanish like a vapor.
No one but no one but no one feels this exact pain we go through.
I believe it is harder than death.
Hang in there.
I just heard Leonard Ravenhill say "I don't believe God hears prayer. He hears DESPARATE prayer!" (BTW he is one of the cool old wize guys from yesteryear)
Ours must be some of the most desparate prayers.
We are being heard.
He hears us.
And just imagine trying to go through this without Jesus.
Unthinkable!!!!
He wants to be our Valentine today.
The Lord's prayer began with OUR Father.
Not my Father. (don't misunderstand me. Of course it goes without saying that He is ours individually also. )
Jesus was emphasizing our need to band together.
